Quick overview of the things agreed on.

First meeting takes place at 6:30pm on the 6th of April, and will hopefully continue on the first Tuesday of every month.

The Google group is above and the twitter hash tag is #Mad_GnG

The initial graphic novel shall be the Alan Moore classic 'From Hell', plenty of discussion there then. Like the Sci-fi group an alternative/complimentary piece shall be chosen, to save money they shall be webcomics, starting with the ridiculous 'Axe Cop' ( http://axecop.com/ )

Also floated was the idea of a comics/comix/graphic novel lending library, more details on this as we figure them out.

I shall write this up properly on the Google group later.

As Hwa asked me I shall be attempting to organise the group. I suspect we will need a name so that I can make a google group. Most things can be set up at the initial meeting but does anybody have a good idea for a name?

I'm thinking "Mad Graphics Novel Group" making the Twitter hash tag #Mad_GNG?

See you all on the 11th.

Hi Matt, of course everyone is welcome! As this is a preliminary meet up, we want to hear everyone's ideas and opinions. We are trying to get an idea of what the community wants, and how to shape it. See you down there!
