The term taxidermy comes from Latin meaning ‘moving skin’. In this 4-hour workshop, students will learn the basics of preservation including how to skin and stuff a mouse, and wire up its limbs.

Anthropomorphism is the attribution of human characteristics to animals, nature or inanimate objects. Using miniature accessories, students will be encouraged to anthropomorphise their mice. Standing, sitting or sleeping, holding a small pipe or book, adorned with a top hat or a tricorn, you will be assisted to transform your mice into a fun parody of human life.
