We’re pleased to announce our first bid-writing course, lead by Laura H. Drane.

Many organisations are dependant on successfully securing funds for project-based or day-to-day operations. With more and more competition for shrinking funding pots, it’s crucial to be prepared for the process properly, with a knowledge of the stages involved and the techniques to handle each successfully.
Omniversity has teamed up with veteran bid winner Laura H. Drane to deliver a unique course taking you through the entire bid-writing process, from finding funds to delivering a winning bid. Laura has secured funds from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of pounds for a wide range of organisations, and provided training in bid-writing to the RSA, Clore Leadership Programme, and British Science. The course she will deliver is based on this programme, and will be the first time these materials and exercises will be available to the public and smaller organisations.

You will be expected tho provide and receive constructive criticism from others on this course as part of the exercises you will undertake on the day.

For those with existing bids in mind…

Laura has offered to tailor the course for attendees who are targeting specific bids, if they can send supporting materials in advance; this is an incredibly valuable addition to the course for those working towards a specific fund, although it is not a requirement and does not affect the core content and activities of the course.

Who will benefit from this class?

Individuals to small-to-medium enterprises aiming to raise funds for projects or operations. The course is suitable both for those who have not been through the bid-writing process and those who have some experience and wish to improve their skills or increase the scale of their applications.
