The aim of the group is to get DSLR video makers together to share camera knowledge, demonstrate kit and techniques. We will also showcase and critique films that are being made using this technology.
Do you own a digital SLR camera with video capabilities? Are you a photographer who wants to make films or a video maker struggling with the idea of interchangeable lenses? Or have all the skills to make a great video but don’t own a decent microphone for recording the sound?
If you want to know more about follow focus, which rig to invest in? Are confused by apertures or which combinations of lenses to use to get that perfect filmic shot then this group is for you.
Requirement of the group is that you own your own DSLR camera with video capability.

Hi, I don’t actually own a digital SLR WITH video capabilities but I am looking to purchase one in the very near future. Would you be able to give me any advice on which models are the best for quality and price? I currently have a Nikon D70s but I hope to have purchased my new camera by the time this event comes around. Any information or advice you could provide would be very much appreciated. Many thanks.

@Mike. Hi, do you have a DSLR with video capabilities or are thinking of buying one? Well if so just come along to a session. The next one is on 4th November from 7pm – 9pm. It will focus on capturing sound for video and finding locations. As we will be starting specific project. See then Adele
