WomenTech, the Manchester Mentorship Programme, offers the possibility to develop a range of your skills, e.g. generic ones like communication in difficult situations. The programme also supports you in finding a personal mentor/mentee.
The focus is on women who are working freelance or in small companies without any HR department. There are two initial meetings available.

In this meeting we’ll see a number of short presentations from our members, including an introduction to App Script, separate looks at SEO and pay-per-click optimisation using Google platforms and a quick update on Google’s consumer technologies.

Some of these presentations will hopefully be used in an outreach effort with the Manchester Girl Geeks later in the year, so we’ll not only see some interesting content but have a chance to help critique and improve our presentations for when that happens.
