Are you free on Fridays? …. if you are come along to our Freelance Friday. The doors are open to anyone who is looking for a space to work, and to catch up with other freelancers in the area.
Co-working and freelancing is the future, so why not come along to MadLab. The fee is a flat £5 all day – your money gets you open wifi, unlimited tea and coffee, and for those eager beavers a breakfast buffet of crumpets, croissants and even some five-a-day fruit. You can get dinner in any of the local eateries (Common have really nice burgers), bring a pack lunch, or heat up something in our renovated kitchen.

This is the first time we are running this event so I don’t know how many will turn up. We hope enough to make it a regular thing.

I like the sound of this, I am currently free on Friday. Might be nice to start a new project in creative space rather than on the sofa watching TV.

I love the idea of this – and does MadLab have any more permanent housing for a mad creative and his talented techie (most probably the other way around – the talented techie and his mad creative marketing sidekick)

We hope to run this as a regular event, think the freelancers of the North might like to get out of thier bedrooms every now and again!
I love the sound of this. Better than beavering away alone in my front room! Unfortunately, I’m unlikely to make the opening one tomorrow but I hope to make it most Fridays after that. It’s a great idea.
Sounds great! Not sure I’ll be able to make it tomorrow in fact, but am definitely interested in heading down to one soon despite the journey involved.
