Title: Girl Geek Tea Party v10
Description: Girl Geek Dinner has got a little sister – Girl Geek Afternoon Tea!
Start Time: 14:00
End Time: 16:00
At this month’s Manchester Girl Geek Tea Party, we celebrate our 1 year anniversary with a Christmas-y potluck and a science & technology Show & Tell.
The event will be a geeky potluck Show& Tell – bring nibbles and a geeky 5-10 minutes presentation to share with everyone. Anything goes – Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, a short presentation of your work, your research or any exciting hobbies that make you feel extra special geeky. There may be some Description Logic biscuits, non-alcoholic mulled wine and an authentic Christmas slideshow looking back at the best Girl Geek Tea Party moments of the past year, including cheesy music. Maybe
Don’t worry if you don’t have a presentation – just come along and join us for some geeky fun anyway!
(“A potluck is a gathering of people where each person or group of people contributes a dish of food to be shared among the group.” [Wikipedia])
Who can come along?
Bring along your friends, sisters, mums, daughters, aunties, cousins, and colleagues, anyone who might be interested.
