Manchester Raspberry Jam

Title: Manchester Raspberry Jam 3
Location: MadLab
Description: The Raspberry Pi is a credit card sized computer with an ARM chip that runs Linux and you can buy one for about £30. It’s designed to bring the hype of BBC Basic back in to schools – you just plug one in to a TV or monitor, attach a keyboard and mouse, and start programming!
Date: 11-08-2012
Start Time: 10:00
End Time: 15:00
Register: This event has has passed. The upcoming event can be found here

Talks and demos are welcomed and encouraged.

The format of the event will be in the style of an ‘unconference’ – with talks, demos, tutorials and workshops going on throughout the day – put on by willing participants – and everyone has the freedom to attend the sessions or simply plug in their Pi and have a play with it or group up with others and share ideas. We’re looking for some sponsorship money from supporters so we can lay on some food for attendees.
