Title: Microbe picnic
Location: MadLab
Description: A microbe-inspired picnic with DIYBIO MCR and Teawitter
Start Time: 12:00
Date: 2011-08-21
End Time: 17:00
This month Diybio Manchester and Teawitter have teamed up for a microbe picnic, come along to the MadLab and join in the fun. Learn about science, and the food you eat!
Who’s going to be there, and what are you going to bring? We have set up a doodle poll to get some idea of numbers, so it would be great if people could sign up to that:

Post here to the list what you’re thinking of bringing so we don’t get too many duplicates!
Suggestions for picnic foods and ingredients whose preparation includes microbiology:
- Bread/yeast based baked goods
- All manner of cheeses
- Chocolate
- Olives
- Quorn
- Yoghurt
- After Eights
- Fermented products (e.g. Kimchi)
- Alcohol!
I’m sure there are plenty of others too..
We look forward to seeing everyone at the MadLab!

I’ve only been to Madlab once before, but it would seem like wasted providence not to take the chance to make sure I am not poisoning myself, if newcomers are welcome.
