Hi Louise

You’ll need access to a soldering iron and wire cutters – but you can pick up both for less than £20 from Clas Olson – see Mitch Altamn is Coming to Town just under “How to make cool things with Microcontrollers”.

Alternately – as Rachael says – there will be some on the day, but a good scout or guide is always prepared, right?

… and don’t forget to book a place to avoid disappointment! Tickets are a nominal £2 each to ensure we keep a good idea of numbers (and will go to a charity of Mitch Altman’s choice). We will have a few soldering sets to buy at cost price on the day if that’s more convenient for you.

hi i home educate 3 girls (8-12 years old) we are interested in coming to the afternoon session on the 18th of march to have a go at soldering.
