NetTuesday

Title: Net Tuesday
Description: Free monthly gatherings for social changemakers and web innovators to network, socialise and share ideas about how nonprofits and social benefit organisations can use the social web for social change.
Start Time: 18:30
Date: 2010-01-26
End Time: 21:00

Net Tuesdays are an initiative of NetSquared, a Project of TechSoup. There are over 50 groups across the world.

This will be the first Manchester Net Tuesday meetup

To help us out, we have TWO special guests!

Amy Sample Ward is (amongst many other things) the Global Community Development Manager of NetSquared and the organizer ofLondon Net Tuesday. Amy can inspire us with stories from across the Net Tuesday verse and beyond…

Nick Booth – aka Podnosh – is based in Birmingham and also has a prestigious background in the sector. Nick will run his “social media game”, which involves more printed cards and less computers than you think…

If we are running a group about social change and the web, then we have two fine people to help us get started!

Feel free to ask any questions via Twitter (@stevieflow), email or even stopping me in the street.

Sign up and more details.

I’ll also try to enable the questions function on MeetUp ;-)

Thanks!

Steven
