Sorry to pop in for a post out of subject but I’m trying to find a nice board games shop in the area and I struggle. Seems pretty hard to find anything if you’re not looking for classic family board games (monopoly @ toys’r'us) or Roleplay games (games workshop, forbidden planet, etc.)

Hi Antoine, thanks for the comment. There is a good game shop on Dale Street called FanBoy3. It covers most if not all your needs. If you intend to go there, I would avoid the weekends of the 28th/29th Jan and 4th/5th Feb as the new set of Magic: the Gathering is released and it gets busy.

FanBoy3 is actually on Newton Street, just round the corner from Dale Street.
Anyone who is free on Sunday evenings is welcome to join the group of us who play boardgames there between 7 and 11pm. That’s even when there are big Magic events, by Sunday night most of them are played out.
I’m intending to get along to MadLab on Monday and I’ll bring a playtest copy of Martin Wallace’s next game – Mythotopia.
