Sci-Fi Book Club: The Drowned World

Round 2 of the #mcrsf group covered J.G. Ballard‘s The Drowned World.
mcrsf - The Drowned World Edition

Omar was this months advocate, and did an admirable job steering the group with talking points. We did not have the variety of cover art as as month, but did have the familiar order of pizza. The discussion was animated, but perhaps not in the same mood as last month. Here are Sarah’s thoughts. On the other hand, Tom offered a post about under appreciated reads. If you have any blogs or interesting reads about this, please share.

Next month we are reading William Gibson‘s classic cyberpunk novel Neuromancer, enthusiastically back by Simon.

Unfortunately all 10 copies from the Central Library have been claimed by members from this meeting.

The companion short story from the Penguin Omnibus is Clifford Simak‘s Skirmish

Join the GoogleGroup to continue the discourse, and see you next month on 20th of April!
