MadLab needs You!
We’ve had lots of love from the community, but many of you have pointed out we’re a bit difficult to find. We’ll, let’s remedy that.
Some of you might have notice we are under going a bit of a clean up downstairs. We would like to continue the facelift - to the 4 shutters at the MadLab that can be used as canvases to express what goes on inside, outside.
We are very open to what can go up, and would love to know how the creatives of Manchester sees us. There are no guide lines but we do ask you colour within the (shutter) lines. You can enter as an individual or as a group.
We won’t tell you what to draw, but are looking to have some work under the theme CREATIVE AGITATION.
If you are interested in designing and painting something to brighten up Edge Street, please submit a sketch and samples of your work to hwayoung@madlab.org.uk
The deadline for submissions is June 30th, with work to start early to mid July.
If you need a template to work off, there is one on our flickr page.
We will narrow the work to a finalist selection and let the community vote on which piece to go up.
The winner will get £100 to use towards materials, a chance to show off work in the Northern Quarter, and endless cups of tea or coffee from the MadLab.
