Manchester Digital Laboratory

Whether you need somewhere to hold a workshop, are looking for a venue for an event, need space for a seminar or away-day, a studio to film in or room to host a launch – MadLab is the ideal venue for you.

Situated in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter, we offer two spacious and fully equipped rooms suited to a variety of uses.

The 1000 square foot open-plan top floor is great for presentations, talks and seminars. The 800 square foot ground floor – which can easily be divided into different sections – suits creative activities and experiments.

• Projectors – fixed Dell 1410X (2700 lumens) projector on the ground floor and two mobile projectors, Dell 1410X (2700 lumens) and Epson EMP-735 (2000 lumens)
• Yamaha PA and sound system
• Wireless microphones and radio mics
• Sony DV camera and tripod to record events (small additional fee)
• Flip camera
• iPod to capture events (small deposit required)
• Flipchart

Catering

If you need to power your brain during the event, there are a variety of options to choose from.

• We can organise catering for a small extra fee, at rates to suit your budget
• You can use our fully-equipped kitchen
• There are a wide range of cafes and bars in the area. We recommend Common, Home Sweet Home, North Tea Power, Oak St. Cafe, Sugar Junction and Teacup on Thomas

Prices per floor

• Half day (four hours): £80
• Full day (eight hours): £150
