This workshop has SOLD OUT!
MadLab is running a FREE coding session for children in Ramsbottom on Friday 19th February!
Get the Bug for Coding with CodeBug is a fun and engaging introduction to easy drag-and-drop programming and electronics. CodeBug is a Manchester-born initiative, designed to give children a fun and engaging introduction to drag and drop programming and electronics. In just a few clicks you’ll program this versatile little computer to display your own message. By the end of the session, you’ll have created a scrolling name badge and a many-faced bug!
Participants will receive a CodeBug worth £15 to take home and keep (kit includes a CodeBug, quick-start guide, and a micro USB cable for programming and power).
This Workshop is aimed at children aged 8 – 12 and are suitable for those children who have no prior coding experience. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The workshop starts at 10am, and lasts an hour. See what happened on our last visit to Bury during Hour of Code in December 2015.
