Check out MadLab’s programme of expert led courses this Spring.

We’re offering comprehensive workshops on the art of blogging, web development, game development, bid writing and hacking.

See our latest brochure for details on courses and workshops here.

With old favourites (courses, not tutors!) such as WordPress with co-founder Mike Little to some BRAND NEW courses for a brand new year. With three courses available, there’s something for every level of expertise – new to website? Get started with Build your first website with WordPress, take your site to the next level with Intermediate WordPress and get a competitive edge with Advanced WordPress.

Remember Dan Hett *cough* BAFTA award-winner *cough*? Not only is he back with Game Dev 101, but he’s also bringing you Game Dev 101: Level 2 to help you budding game-makers develop your skills further.

At the end of March we run our Bid Writing course with the amazing Laura Drane, a comprehensive introduction to the world of fund-raising, helping you find ways to fund any projects and products you might be developing – the perfect companion to one of our creative courses!

And – for the first time ever – MadLab is excited to be offering a two-day ethical hacking course, giving you a crash course in cyber-security. We’ve teamed up with My Hacker House to bring their Hands-on Hacking course to Manchester for the first time ever. Don’t miss out, this one is sure to fill up fast!

Hold up, we’re not done yet…

This year also sees us launch our brand new MadFabLab space at 42 Edge Street (next door), and with it, a whole bunch of new practical courses and workshops.

Arduino & Internet of Things will be back later this year, plus some extra goodies involving laser cutting, Raspberry Pi and more!

Keep a eye on our Courses page for a full list of ‘what’s on’, and join our mailing list to be the first in the know when new courses are announced!
