Manchester Linux User Group

Saturday 15th July, 2:00pm

ManLUG is a group of GNU/Linux users from in and around Manchester who meet up regularly to discuss Linux and the GNU operating system. ManLUG is recognised as the oldest user group dedicated to Linux in the UK, and has met regularly since 1994. MadLab has been home to the group since 2010.

This Month: LVM

Dave Gilbert is kindly giving a talk on LVM, it is a layer to organise block storage in a way that’s more flexible than partitioning. There will be clarification how to use it, some of the tricks you can play with it, and how to dig yourself out of problems.
