Since its inception MadLab has engaged in project work, primarily in the areas of community innovation and public experimentation with new & emerging technologies.

Some highlights from the past year include the hugely successful Greater Manchester-wide Digital Skills For Women programme, the Pararchive project – with the BBC, Science Museum and Leeds University alongside Manchester’s Bokeh_Yeah (film-making) and Arduino Manchester (electronics) communities – and the award-winning LabEasy pop-up community biotechnology laboratory with London’s The Arts Catalyst.

If you are interested in finding out more about the kinds of work we do and how we do it, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We are always looking for interesting/interested partners also!
