Would you like to enhance your digital skills?
MadLab has a number of FREE digital skills training courses available for residents in Greater Manchester.
We provide friendly and welcoming first experiences with digital technologies, for people who want to explore if a career in digital is for them, who want to expand their knowledge and learn new skills, or for those who just want to have some fun.
We operate a ‘no barriers’ policy - offering financial support to those who need assistance with travel costs or childcare on a case-by-case basis. We can also provide support accessing a laptop or computer for home use if you do not already have your own.
Participation in all our courses also provides access to our learning community - where you can receive ongoing support with further training and/or employment opportunities, mentoring from previous learners or industry professionals and personalised additional support.
We currently offer courses in the following areas:
- Web Development (HTML, CSS & JavaScript)
- Games Development
- Cyber Security
- Electronics (e.g. Raspberry Pi, Micro:Bit, Arduino)
- Digital Making (e.g. 3D printing, soldering, laser cutting)
